Wouldn't it be nice if everyone had your level of enthusiasm? I'm glad I'm not the only one looking forward to it. The press (particularly the Evening Standard) is in continual doom mode over the whole thing.
PS - Regarding your previous entry about our favourite ex-Sun editor I read his column over someones shoulder the other day and he was defending Jade Goody!!

Just when you thought he couldn't get any worse ...
In terms of the Olympics, I reckon most people are as enthusiastic as us; after all, if everyone took the doom mongers' view, nothing would ever get built, human society wouldn't move forward and no sports contests would ever take place!!!
